The Quest

Welcome to Wiz3

Guide Wizio the Wizard as he journeys through a magical land. Collect the potions as you go to create spells that will help you on your way. Use the keys to enter locked doors and hidden treasures. Throw the levers to reveal new routes and bonuses.

How to Play

Wiz3 was originally a Java game — back when browsers ran those as plugins. This is a faithful HTML5 remake: the original sprites, sounds and all 19 levels, driven by a brand-new engine that runs directly in your browser. No download, no Java, no plugins. Just hit play.

    Press Play

    Click any Play button. The game runtime loads in the browser (a few seconds the first time) and Wiz3 opens right on the page.

    Start the game

    Click the game window to give it focus, then press S to start. Press P any time to pause.

    Use the arrow keys to move, Ctrl or Space to jump, and ↓ to duck. Collect potions and brew spells.

Prefer the native app? You can still download the jar and run java -jar wiz3.jar.
